Day 01: Munnar: Welcome to Gods own country! On arrival at Cochin Airport you will be met by our executive and transferred toMunnar(150 Kms / 4 Hrs) by enjoying the panoramic view of the green carpets of tea plantations en-route.Onthe way you can visit Cheeyapara Waterfalls. On arrival, check in to Resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure trekking around the estate.After Dinner ,overnight at your Resort.
Day 02: Munnar: Morning sightseeing trip of Munnar including the Eravikulam National Park, the Mattupetty Dam, Dairy Farm and also walk through the Old Munnar Town & Rajamalai Sanctuary. Rest of the day at leisure and enjoy another overnight, after dinner stay at your Resort.
Day 03: Alleppey (Houseboat): After checkout from Thekkady proceed to Alleppey (200 Kms) and check in to your HouseBoat (your luxury home on sail for next 24 hours). Houseboat trip is the perfect way to experience the backwater lifestyle of Kerala. The day long journey in the beautiful backwaters of Kerala is the only way to explore what otherwise seems more like a poet’s version.
As your trip would start, it would seem like any other boat trip but within just one-hour time, the boat will reach in the area, which is just breathtaking. It is far beyond imagination that how a whole life is running across both the corners of backwaters. Your houseboat trip makes you experience this very unique thing. While sitting on the deck of your houseboat or while sitting in the spacious open sit-out area, outside your bedroom, you can see the people starting their day. Among the many interesting things which you can see in the day long journey, few which I am sure would catch your attention are:
a) Children being taught the swimming lessons right at their doorstep.
b) Children going to school in little boats.
c) Vendors selling cold drinks and other grocery items in the boats. And
d) Families moving from one place to another in the houseboat.
By the evening, your boat will get anchored close to one of the villages, located by the backwaters. You can surely take a tour of this small village. During the whole day, you will be served delicious meals prepared by your chef and his assistants. Over night at your luxury air-conditioned houseboat.
Day 04: Kollam: Morning after breakfast checkout from Alleppey & Proceed to Kollam(100 KMS).Kollam or Quilon, is an old seaport and town on the Lakshadweep Sea coast in Kerala, India on Ashtamudi Lake. Kollam, once called Desinganadu, has had a high commercial reputation since the days of the Phoenicians and Romans.Onarrival checkin to your Resort. Rest of the time for a sightseeing tour which covers Thrumullavaram Beach , Mahathma Gandhi Beach & Park and such as….Overnight at Resort.
Day 05: Kollam: Morning after breakfast proceed for a walk through surroundings of Ashtamudi Kayal by enjoying the natural beauty of Backwaters . Ashtamudi Lake, also known as the gateway to the backwaters of Kerala, is one of the largest and deepest wetland ecosystems in Kerala.Overnight at Kollam.
Day 06: Cochin : Moring after breakfast checkout from Kollam & proceed to Cochin(150 KMS).Onarrival checkin to you hotel.Today you can take a sightseeing trip of Cochin like Chinese Fishing Nets,Dutch and Matancherry Palace,marine drive , Synagogue etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Departure: Morning after breakfast at appropriate time you will be transferred to Cochin airport or railway station for your onward journey back to your home destination. The Tour ends.
